- Notes: Groups of cylindrical tubes, sometimes wider at the top, forming vases, grayish, pinkish, yellowish, with smooth conules. In the Florida Keys there are three co-existing morphotypes, gray, red, and yellow, which are not genetically distinct and appear to be the result of ecophenotypic plasticity due to some degree of ecological differentiation (see López-Legentil et al., 2010).
