Demospongiae Poecilosclerida Coelosphaeridae Lissodendoryx isodictyalis 8 Light greenish, bluish to grayish, soft crumbly masses with oscular lobes or tubes growing on mangrove roots or on the bottom of lagoons or tidal channels. L. isodictyalis and L. carolinensis Wilson, 1911 are similar in external shape and spicule complement and co-occur in some localities of the northern Atlantic. The latter has two instead on one size clase of microsclere spicules sigmas and chelae.
