Species Description and Notes
Notes: Thin, soft black sheet; purple inside; stains the fingers purple. Could be confused with Iotrochota arenosa Rützler, Maldonado, Piantoni & Riesgo, 2007, also pictured here, which is always thicker and releases more mucus. It is also known as Artemisina nigra sensu Alcolado & Gotera, 1986.
