Species Description and Notes

Notes: Black, smooth mounds, often quite rounded but can be laterally expanded. Oscules scattered or aligned, with a conical collar. Interior color creamy. Fibers thicker than Spongia sp. “obscura”-“shaggy”, also pictured here. Definite identification pending.
