Species Description and Notes

Notes: The shape ranges from small, cavity filling, to medium-size globular, to large barrel-shaped; it is characterized by having a central highly collared and transparent oscule, and erect fistules densely scattered throughout the surface. Tissue color of oscule and fistules is dark brown. The remaining surface is heavily fouled with crustose, filamentous and flesy algae and sometimes other sessile invertebrates.
