Species Description and Notes

Notes: Previously known as Clathria (Thalysias) juniperina (Lamarck, 1814) and also Rhaphidophlus juniperinus. Red, erect to repent branches, single or ramified; scattered oscules; surface nodulose. There are thickly encrusting specimens in high energy environments (shallow wave-exposed or in tidal currents).
