Species Description and Notes

Notes: Red to purple, thin encrustations to thick cushions. It stains the fingers when handled. Surface with fields of round, slightly elevated areas which are fields of inhalant pore sieves. Oscules scatteres, slightly elevated or in volcano-like mounds. Florida populations grow upright, masive to lobate.
