Species Description and Notes

Notes: Thinly encrusting, dark orange, as a hard crust with an hispid surface, owing respectively to its Lithisthid skeleton of basal desmas (articulated reticulation of silicon spicules) and erect protruding spicules (styles). Looks geen when deep underwater.
